As we continue to recover from the effects of the covid-19 pandemic, the conflict in Ukraine has created yet more uncertainty and insecurity, along with a rise in the cost of living which will likely reduce the expendable income of households across the UK and Europe. Disruption to supply chains over the last 18 months has been a challenge to suppliers and retailers alike, while we anticipate 2023 reverting to a more normal trading pattern.

The huge growth in popularity of Outdoor Living products is evidenced by the success of our Outside In Designs brand, with design-savvy gardeners creating extensions to their homes by decorating their garden spaces. This is a product category we have long wanted to bring into our portfolio to provide our customers with excellent product quality at key retail price points, matched with unrivalled service and availability.
