Still, that did nothing to stop the UK almost coming to a collective halt last Thursday and Friday as many roads became too treacherous to drive on or were blocked with stationary vehicles.
Not great for business though, especially in Garden Centres as some were forced to stay shut and customers venturing out were thin on the ground. However with snow being a relative novelty these days, who can blame families for prioritising snowball fights and tobogganing over retail therapy, at least for one week-end.
Hopefully business will be back to normal this week and we can expect to see customers visiting in centres ahead of Easter, which is early this year.
